Riyadh cultural center is part of a larger development, located near the railway port in Riyadh.
The vision is derived from the vernacular form of the region, re-interpreting the tapered form and triangulated openings pattern, whilst considering circulation, ventilation, shading and lighting factors.

The massing arrangement follows traditional Saudi ideas where private courtyards are formed by the strategic placement of the surrounding buildings, offering privacy, whilst a large canopy provides shading and an additional layer of texture.
